The Informatics Management Board
The Informatics Management Board is the successor to the High Level Steering Committee. The terms of reference for the Board are as follows:
- To ensure that the strategic direction of the NCRI Informatics Initiative, as set in the business case approved by the NCRI Board, is maintained;
- To approve implementation plans and budgets prepared by the Director (with the help of the Coordination Unit);
- To monitor progress against objectives and milestones set in the implementation plans, and to take corrective action if necessary;
- To consider and if appropriate agree funding for recommendations from the Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel;
- To provide the forum to which the Director is accountable;
- To report to the NCRI Board at least once every 12 months.
